The first in a series of four individual paintings of scenes from Provincetown, MA.  Together they form one complete summertime beach scene.  All four 8x10" paintings are done in acrylic on canvas, simply framed in unfinished pine.  In this one, a sailboat is moored in Cape Cod Bay.

The second in the series shows a couple holding hands as they walk toward the lighthouse across the sandbars of the bay.

The third in the series depicts brightly colored beach umbrellas which shade beach-goers among the dunes of Herring Cove.

The fourth in the series shows the American flag blowing in the sea breeze, while a seagull rests on a piling in the foreground.  Puffy white clouds float gently across a crisp blue summer sky.
