Shenandoah
I snapped a photo of a hazy, lazy sunset of the Shenandoah Valley during a visit there. It never bothered me if other people were in the picture, and in this case, they actually "made" the composition. I admire anyone else who takes a moment in their daily life to see and appreciate the beauty that is so often around us and yet so often overlooked by others. So how could I resist painting this scene. (1999. Acrylic on canvas, 16x20)
