This “after” photo shows how the railing is now “featured” as another piece of beautiful furniture in the room after having been given a “metallic make-over.” In addition, both the mid-landing area and area under the upper level have been painted to match the walls. The unnecessary center rail has been removed and that area painted to match the walls as well. The entire transformation has created a more sophisticated, classically hip and glamorous first impression where there once was just an unimaginative white elephant.
